Nice to meet you!

My name is Gina Huff

I have been captivated by stories ever since I can remember. Fairy tales, myths, and legends spoke to me in ways that enlivened and challenged me. These imaginary worlds often made more sense to me than the real one I inhabited. The real world’s directives for right living held little space for the curiosity and courage portrayed in my beloved stories.

It seemed the only pathway to acceptance and success required a forfeiture of the seemingly immature qualities of whimsy and wonder. But, these qualities lay mostly dormant in me as I lived and worked according to the cultural tenets most of us accede to.

  • I defined myself by my roles and responsibilities.
  • I measured my worth by my income or my degrees.
  • I wore different hats and spent excessive energy trying to fit in.
  • I struggled to hold on to my identity and felt I was missing the mark.

Something had to change! And that's when I discovered...

The Enneagram

I was introduced to the Enneagram after my children left home and my career aspirations had tanked. It took me awhile to discover my true type but when I did, I was deeply relieved to see my struggles were not uncommon.

As an Enneagram Type 4, the Intense Creative, my quest to fit in and constantly fix myself had a lot more to do with a false story I was believing than a failure to measure up. That story was subconsciously fueling fears and core motivations that hid under the surface of my understanding which kept me from seeing that I was already whole. I just needed to dig deeper to find my true self.

The Integrative Enneagram provided me with unique insights into myself and how I related to others. As I applied what I was learning, my self-awareness increased along with my compassion for the painful internal battles of each person. I marveled at how the Enneagram handled nuance and human complexities by revealing the stories, false and true, of each type. The Enneagram became a portal of possibility by highlighting the ways I could reclaim the wonders of my true self.

I am living a much more satisfying life today because of this deeply transformative tool. I became an Integrative Enneagram Practitioner so I could help you find and live your true story. I want you to know that...

You’re not a problem to be solved but a wonder to be reclaimed!

"Have you ever wondered what it is that makes you tick? Have you ever thought about why you think, act, or feel like you do? I did. That is why I took the online Enneagram assessment offered by Gina Huff. After looking over my test results, Gina helped me explore in depth how my strengths and weaknesses can affect my interactions with others, both personally and professionally.

From my assessment, Gina was able to point out specific strategies that can help me be a better wife, friend, counselor, and an overall better me. From what I learned, I can not only relate better to others, but also to myself and employ healthy self-care techniques.

As a pastoral counselor, I see so much value in the insights offered by the Enneagram for anyone who wants to grow into all they were designed to be.”

Who am I, really?

I want you to be exposed to the same transformational tools that helped me live a more successful personal and professional life.  Contact me to see if Enneagram-based life coaching is right for you.
